Mt. Beulah Baptist Church is committed to having a quality student ministry. Our student ministry is staffed with dedicated volunteers who make up our S.M.I.L.E. Team (Student Ministry, Involvement, Leadership, Encouragement.) Any student from 6th - 12th grade will be pleased with our youth program. We encourage you to talk with some of our youth about the ministry here at Mt. Beulah.

From the Desk of the Youth Director
Isn't it great to be a Christian! This is a pivotal month in the life of me personally and the life of my family. At this point I have been out of work, disabled for two and a half years from a torn Achilles surgery and the many complications from that surgery. I've had extreme infections, some I'm still dealing with, blood problems and for a long time an open wound. What makes this month so pivotal is that if I'm not back to my job of 28 years by March 19th I lose it and the insurance that goes with it. This week I have a doctor's appointment to try to be released to be able to go back to my job at Timken by this deadline. You can only imagine the feelings and emotions running thru me as this appointment approaches, since he has refused to release me in the past and also if he does release me how will I perform on this physical job I've done for so long. But I want you to know, that this adventure has not been all bad. God has taken care of my family in miraculous ways for two and a half years. He has done things and stretched money like you could never imagine with us living on less that 50% of my salary for so long. I have grown so much as a Christian and learned how to not just talk about faith but to live each and every day by it. He has comforted me when I was weak, he has fed me when I was hungry, he has put people in my family's way to encourage us including a group of young people I love with all my heart. Through them God has given me purpose and the ability to serve my Lord and my King. I truly know that the Scripture about that if God is watching over the birds of the field and that if he adorns the fields with so much beauty he surely will and has watched over me and my family. That's why even with a pivotal month coming up so quickly that there is nothing to really worry about, because God already knows that His plan is for my life and that I have the assurance that no matter what happens on March 19th He will provide my needs and take care of my family. Do you have that assurance today? Are you asking God to Totally be in control of your life? If not why haven't you? He is the only answer.

I want to thank you all for all your prayers through out this journey. They have been felt daily and they have helped keep me going. I love you all and you and this great church are always in my prayers. My wish for you is that you make God and Mt. Beulah Baptist Church your top priority because you are His. Have a great month and again thank you.

Thanks again,
Kenneth Moffitt
